Rubber Ducking
Our work is based on a set of values. One book that we look to for inspiration is The Pragmatic Programmer, which among other issues deals with a technique known as Rubber Ducking (hence the cute rubber duck on our front page). In short, you place a rubber duck somewhere near your desk, and ask it for advice whenever you're stuck. If the question is well-formed, the solution will often be obvious.
Other values that we appreciate when we work together and with our customers:
- Will Will is a continous, inner drive to achieve your own or the goals of the group.
- Trust Trust is a conviction that everbody has the skills and will to fullfill their roles.
- Common goals A common goal is represented by an agreement about what the result of the cooperation will be.
- Clarity Clarity is common understanding about what, how and why.
